I would like to see a simple "API" where I can use an URL to redirect users to the feature upvote page and they get autoamtically created if they don't exist and logged in, secured by a hash of the name + email that is verified with a shared secret algorithm (HMAC):https://mypage.featureupdate.com/from-external?name=MyUserfirstname.lastname@example.org&hash=abcdefg123456This way i could easily link feature upvote in every email or from our main menu and it would automatically create user accounts

SSO via SAML seems like a nightmare to implement. Benjamin's request is identical to what I'm looking for. A simple API where my server tells your server who the user is, and you treat that as the gospel truth. If you have a suggestion for a simple way to implement SAML via Node, I'm all ears (but it looked like quite an undertaking to implement).
In Zendesk they use JWT to authenticate users. I send a name, email and organisation to zendesk and receive a JWT token. With this token I can redirect my users to go to Zendesk, login and view the knowledgebase and enter tickets.It would be awesome if SSO on featureupvote would be able to do the same
