From within our app, we'd link to link directly to a private feature board.

Making the board private will force all our users to know an additional password. This is a bad UX from our point of view, so for now, the board is public.

Ideally we'd like to be able to populate that password via the URL (obscured). An idea on how to obscure it could be the password + account name + todays date as a hash. But anything will do.

It's really just to stop prying eyes / competitors seeing valuable information that we only want to share with our customers (we're a SAAS B2B). E.g the feature board shows our customers and what additional stuff they want in our software. It's doesn't need to be top level security. This should probably be an option that we can turn on.
