Add sort option "Trending" or "Hot"
Currently, "Top" and "New" are offered. While the top ones might be old and still get a lot of votes, just because they are at the top, the new features usually have only 1-3 votes and quickly disappear in all the features. A 3rd category called Trending, which highlights features which did get the most votes in a certain time frame (e.g. last 14 days) might be valuable to bubble up other interesting ideas

Demi MergedThere should be another button here https://prnt.sc/rpvoyb which is called Rising and should show which suggestions are rising quickly.
Our user-base have grown so much that we get 100s of suggestions per month and can not read all of them.
When there is a bug, that suggestion usually rises up faster than the others or when there is something the community wants with respect to a new feature or a new add-on.
We have seen a few suggestions rise to the top very quickly and if there was this feature we could have caught them early on.
You can copy the algorithm from reddits opensource code: https://prnt.sc/rpvqos -

Demi MergedThere are 2 categories on the main page, Top & New. Top is according to the total amount of votes a certain suggestion has gotten.
We have over a thousand suggestions: https://colonist.featureupvote.com/?order=popular&filter=all&tag=#controls and have been using featureupvote for 2 years. Some suggestions are more urgent, more players want right now and some suggestions 200 people wanted a year ago but no one wants them now.
So if there was a way to sort the suggestions according to Hot just like on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/Colonist/ it would decrease the amount of management we need to do on featureupvote

Steve McLeod AdminWe introduced the "Trending" view to all feedback boards yesterday. Read more here: https://featureupvote.com/blog/sort-suggestions-by-trending/
We are trying out some different algorithms for the way "Trending" determines what to show first. So you may see some variation in the ordering in the next few weeks.
