Allow custom fields
It would be useful to be able to add a custom field where the user can add some extra info that we require. This could be a free text field or a drop-down list containing a fixed set of choices.
Admins should be able to set this field as either optional or required.

jennyWe need to be able to collect certain data -- like is this a bug that needs to be fixed or is it a new feature; is this on web or in the app; etc. Having the ability to collect specific fields would be really helpful!

melanieIt would be really helpful to be able to collect a bit more information. Particularly having a drop down field option where they can choose which of our products the feature relates to would be massively helpful.

LasseWe need to guide our users through a set of questions to be sure they notify us with all relevant info. With required set of questions such as "priority", "category".

ThomasHaving the ability to select a product or product component from a fixed pull down list would be valuable. Otherwise, we have some ambiguity in the feature requests.
I also disagree with the idea of having a priority field. The whole purpose of feature voting is, that customer priority ratings do not help a product manager in any way to decide on which features to build. -

AlissaI think this request goes right along with the request of allowing suggesters to select tags when submitting suggestions. Products aren't one dimensional and tagging helps categorize things by area. Allowing only the admins to select tags only creates more work for someone who may not have time to go through and categorize each request. And if not maintained will only make your product cumbersome and unusable for product teams to navigate.
