Support for @mention for an existing user

A common flow is:
1. Someone creates a basic suggestion
2. The product team has a clarification question
Unless we change the status to something like "Need more info" (we have the "Send email notifications when suggestions are updated" setting ON), there isn't a way in the suggestion comments to notify and reach the suggestion author. It would be nice to leave the status as "Under Consideration" and just start typing a comment with something like "@John" and it suggest/autocomplete to "John Smith" or matching user names. Upon comment save, send the mentioned person(s) an immediate email to gain their attention.
A lot of other collaborative tools like Office, Slack, etc. have @mention capabilities.
