Please allow the 'edit' post and comment function to be enabled permanently for non-admin/moderators

Hello! As part Paradox Interactives' initiatives, we've created a FeatureUpvote for a closed space of trusted external-contributor community; a common pain-point at the moment, only a day in, is that people cannot edit or adjust posts & comments AFTER they have been created. (Typos, adding more critical infomation) - I understand in a public board this may not be wanted, therefore I believe having this as an option in the moderator page would be suitable.
Another ask would be to increase the character limit to larger than 2,000, also as a enabled option.
